AUDREY ESTELLE "JEEP" SLAUGHTER WRENN age 80, of 168 Snipes Road, Hurdle Mills, NC died Thursday night, September 22, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Wrenn was born June 7, 1936 in Washington, DC to the late Victor & Lulu Shelton Slaughter. She worked for Eaton Corp. for many years, retired from Loxcreen and was a member of Theresa Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Glenn W. Wrenn & wife, Wendy of Hurdle Mills, NC, two sisters, Marie Ray of Burlington, NC, Katie Slaughter of MD and a brother, Frank Slaughter of Burlington, NC.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wrenn is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mollie & Jacob Slaughter, uncle, Jack Slaughter and companion, Roland “Red” Mangum. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services by the Rev. Herbert Brown.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
