ALICE MARIE BOWDEN AVOLA age 82, of 54 Fletcher Ridge Road, Timberlake, NC, died Thursday morning, February 7, 2019, at her home.

Mrs. Avola was born September 21, 1936, in Suffolk County, MA, daughter of the late Adeline L. Bowden and wife of 67 years to Robert Avola, who survives. She was a housewife and a Jehovah’s Witness.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Robert Avola & wife, Lisa of Meredith, New Hampshire, two daughters, Gina Brewer & husband, Robert of Hillsborough, NC, Jodi Gemmer & husband, Robert of Greenville, Tennessee, two grandchildren, Brittany Avola & Alyssa Brewer and one brother, Edward Roche.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Avola is preceded in death by a son, Glenn Avola.
