Carrie Ann Meade "Carrie Bob"

CARRIE ANN MEADE age 43, of 13162 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, NC died Tuesday morning, October 8, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.

Ms. Meade was born June 21, 1976 in Floyd County, KY, daughter of the late Roger Dwayne Meade and Scott & Lenna Tackett Stigall who survive.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Carrie enjoyed listening to music, watching Criminal Minds, reading, drinking coffee, chewing gum, eating green beans, and spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her parents are aunts and uncle, Rhonda & Ronnie Tackett, Stephanie & Carroll Stigall, paternal grandmother, Nancy H. Harris & husband, Robert, and cousins, Matthew Tackett, Larry Sabo, and Emily Stephens.

In addition to her father, Ms. Meade is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles & Jacqueline Tackett, paternal grandparents, Raymond & Patty Ruth Meade, Steve Stigall, and aunt, Robin Shoemaker.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:45 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Wilkerson officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 11:00 till 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
