Cary Lamberth Solomon

CARY LAMBERTH SOLOMON age 83, of 1189 Country Club Road, Roxboro, NC died Monday night, June 17, 2019 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Solomon was born November 9, 1935 in Person County, NC son of the late Oscar Lamberth & Betty Bera Clayton Solomon.  He enjoyed working with horses and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Oliver T. Fuller, III, Stephen Fuller, Jackie Wilkins & husband, Mike, Lisa Hodges & husband, Justin, Sharon Kendrick & husband, Tracey all of Roxboro, NC, Adrienne Duncan & husband, Jerry of Leasburg, NC, Allison Porterfield & husband, Brad of Hurdle Mills, NC, Shannon Johansen of Prosper, TX, and companion, Shelby “Doll” Newcomb.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Solomon is preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Solomon, Fred Solomon, Lawrence “Slick” Solomon, Barry Solomon, and a sister, Lillie Mae Solomon Fuller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Daniel Pantoja Salazar officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Randy Clayton, Steve Fuller, Tom Fuller, Blake Hodges, Justin Hodges, and Ricky Palmer.
