David "Chris" Christopher Long

DAVID CHRISTOPHER LONG, age 46, of 8773 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday night, July 6, 2018.

Mr. Long was born September 20, 1971 and was the son of the late Sam David Long & the late Brenda Faye Aiken.  He was employed with the W.L. Bishop Construction. 

Surviving are his mother, Cindy Bowes Long of the home, one son, Zackary Long of Ringgold, VA, one brother, Ruebin James Long & wife, Abbi of Moncks Corner, SC,  one granddaughter, Aria Grace Long, his partner, Jane Long, two nieces, Lauren Taylor Long, and Morgan Long Wilbanks & husband, Jon, two nephews, Carter David Long, Austin Leonidas Long, and his dog, Sophia Ann.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Minister Marvin Hawkins officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service and other times at the home.
