Jasper Lee Pruett

JASPER LEE PRUETT, age 25, of 1557 Gentry Ridge Road, Roxboro, NC passed away Tuesday morning August 27, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Pruett was born August 14, 1994 in Durham County, NC, son of Tracy E. Pruett and Margaret Lynn Wilbourne Pruett and was of the Baptist faith. 

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandmother, Betty Pruett, eight uncles, Jimmy Pruett, Garnett Wilbourne, Donald Wilbourne, Mark Wilbourne, Ted Wilbourne, Richard Wilbourne, Reggie Wilbourne, Charles Wilbourne, four aunts, Janie Denny, Joyce Stewart, Debbie Hedrick, Tammy Pruett, and a host of cousins.

Jasper is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Garnett & Margaret Wilbourne, paternal grandfather, Max Pruett, and two uncles, Todd Wilbourne, and David Brittain.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Blackwell officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services and other times at the home of Richard Wilbourne, 1030 Gillis Road, Roxboro, NC.

Pallbearers will be Donald Wilbourne, Grey Wilbourne, Jacob Wilbourne, Justin Wilbourne, Mark Wilbourne, Michael Wilbourne, Richard Wilbourne, and Ted Wilbourne.
