Laddie (Lee) Phillips

LADDIE LEE PHILLIPS age 97, of 750 Noah Davis Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday morning, November 8, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Phillips was born August 28, 1922 in Durham County, NC, daughter of the late Ezra & Nora Owen Lee and was wife of 60 years to the late Harvey Thomas Phillips, Jr.  She was a retired beautician and was a charter member of Front Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Phillips was very fond of birds (especially cardinals) and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Faye Phillips Seals of Roxboro, NC, son, Chris Phillips of Bracey, VA, grandson, Monte Seals, two great grandsons, Hunter Seals, Tanner Seals, and brother, Edward Lee & wife, Brenda.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Phillips, three sisters, Sadie Jennings, Nora Mae Whitlow Harold, and Inell Yarboro.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Chaplin Para Drake and Chaplin Philip Hare officiating.
