Roy Lee Tuck

ROY LEE TUCK age 65, of 230 Cedar Grove Church Road, Roxboro, NC died Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Tuck was born February 19, 1954 in Person County, NC son of the late Edward Walam & Henrietta Daisy Bowes Tuck and was husband of 45 years to Shelia Regan Tuck who survives.  He worked as an electrician until his health forced him into retirement and was of the Baptist faith.  Roy was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, North Carolina Tar Heels, and enjoyed watching Nascar, but his greatest love was for his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Christie Tuck Windham & husband, Gabe, Roy Matthews Tuck & wife, Jennifer all of Roxboro, NC, three grandchildren, Katie Windham, Kirah Tuck, Lily Tuck, four sisters, Mary Alice Holbrook, Virginia Weadon, Rose Tyson, Linda Talley, brother, Carlton Tuck, sister-in-law, Susie Wilborn, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mr. Tuck is preceded in death by two brothers, Buck Tuck, and Ernest Tuck.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with family and friends officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.   

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Brann, Randy Long, Jay Tuck, Barry Whitfield, Jason Wilborn, Jimmy Wilborn, Jr., and Lynn Wrenn.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
