THOMAS EDWARD GLAZIER age 73, of 628 Flem Clayton Road, Roxboro, NC died Wednesday morning, December 12, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Glazier was born April 23, 1945 in St. Lawrence County, NY son of the late William Harding & Irene Catherine Ladouceur Glazier. He grew up in Watertown, and Brownville, NY and attended General Brown Central High School before proudly serving his country in the US Navy. After working with Kroger for more than 20 years, Tom started his own trucking business and was at his happiest hauling gravel and sand for his customers.
Surviving are two children, April Renee O’Brien & husband, Devin, Scott Campbell all of Roxboro, NC, five grandchildren, Lauren Martin & husband, Cody, Taylor Davis, Dalton O’Brien, Will Davis, Noah Campbell, two sisters, Carol Wilcox of Naples, FL, and Cathie Welch & husband, Phillip of Timberlake, NC and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Joel Bradsher officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests from 11:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Pallbearers will be Pat Bowen, Kevin Ellis, Lee Holt, Andy Porterfield, Randy Welch, and Tom Wilcox. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Clayton and Eugene Melton.
