Christopher Braxton Bowes

INFANT CHRISTOPHER BRAXTON BOWES, of 121 Lynn Drive, Roxboro, NC died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home.

Braxton was born June 18, 2022 in Durham County, NC, son of Colby Alexander Bowes & Victoria Danielle “Tori” Henderson.  

Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Kane Bowes, paternal grandparents, Donald & Amy Bowes, Jennifer Hersey, maternal grandmother, Joan Anderson, aunts, Makayla Godwin, Julianna “Juli” Godwin, Sierra Hersey, uncles, Aaron Hersey, Neal Hersey, Christian Bowes, William Bowes, Donovan Bowes & wife, Michelle, and a host of loving cousins.

Braxton is preceded in death by his beloved great grandparents.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. M. David Chambers and the Rev. David King officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 12:00 till 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Donald & Amy Bowes, 298 Falcon’s Rest, Roxboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Duke Children’s Hospital, 300 West Morgan Street, Suite 1000, Durham, NC 27701.
