Edna Earl (Long) Long

EDNA EARL LONG LONG, age 77, of 211 Country Club Road Roxboro, NC died Sunday night, June 28, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Long was born June 19, 1943 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late James Edgar & Mary Frances Regan Long and was wife of 50 years to the late Jerry Thomas Long.  She was retired from the Person County School System and was a member of Theresa Baptist Church. 

Surviving are a daughter, Wendy L. Jones & husband, David of Roxboro, NC, two sisters, Helen Bowes, Lillian Oakley & husband, Carl all of Roxboro, NC, and a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Long is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lee Long, grandson, Austin Lee Long, brother, Joseph Long, and three sisters, Annie Mae Clayton, Faye Solomon, and Linda Duncan.

Private graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in the Theresa Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Brown, and the Rev. Ben Francis officiating.
