Frances (Clark) Oliver

ALICE FRANCES CLARK OLIVER, age 91, of Greer, SC died Saturday afternoon, December 24, 2022.

Mrs. Oliver was born June 25, 1931 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Willie Henry & Mattie Lee Garrett Clark.  She retired as a V.P. from Cato’s after more than 40 years of service.  She was a life-long Christian woman who always put the Lord first.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Oliver & wife, Kathy, David L. Oliver & wife, Rhonda, six grandchildren, David II, Chase, Hudson, Payton, Elliott, Maria, nine great grandchildren, Cade, Layla, Emmie, Easton, Corbin, Colton, Luke, Kingston, Emily, sister, Fay Guinn, two brothers, Danny Clark, Oskar “Buster” Clark, two sisters-in-law, Janette Clark, and Luna Clark.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Oliver is preceded in death by two sisters, Ramona Gentry, Jewel Clark, three brothers, Tucker Clark, Bill Clark, and Fred Clark.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Don Pegg officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hope Church Mill Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests from 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
