Homer Eugene Napier

HOMER EUGENE NAPIER, age 69, of 1086 Main Street, Yanceyville, NC, formerly of Roxboro, died Sunday evening, January 10, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

Mr. Napier was born March 20, 1951 in Person County, NC, son of the late William Allen Napier & the late Betty Jane Poole Napier. Mr. Napier enjoyed watching football, basketball, and was an avid Tar Heel fan. 

Surviving are two brothers, Earl Napier (Patsy), Johnny Napier (Candie Carver), two sisters, Berta Shelton, Josephine Napier, step-daughter, Dawn Pittman, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Napier is preceded in death by four brothers, David James Napier, Donnie Napier, George Napier, Frankie Napier, and sister, Inez Holbrook.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Bunch officiating.  Those wishing to pay respects may do so from 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services.
