OSKER ADDISON CLARK, age 78, of Roxboro, NC, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 10, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Clark was born January 20, 1945 in Person County, NC, son of the late Willie Henry & Ruth Mabel Chisenhall Clark. He was retired as a self-employed truck driver and was a veteran of the US Army.
Osker enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who were his life, working, fishing, and taking trips to White Lake and the beach.
Surviving are three children, David Clark & wife, Lisa of Bahama, NC, Buck Clark & wife, Kim of Durham, NC, Windy Gibson & husband, Tony of Mebane, NC, seven grandchildren, Dean Clark, Jonathan Gibson, Dylan Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Sheyanne Clark, Stacy Baker, Brandon Baker, two great grandchildren, Dakota Clark, Caitlyn Cayton, brother, Danny Clark & wife, Sylvia, niece & nephews, Melissa Barker, Danny “Danny Boy’ Clark, Jr., Bobby Clark, and David Oliver.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark is preceded in death by siblings, Tucker Clark, Bill Clark, Frances Oliver, Ramona Gentry, Fay Guin, Fred Clark, Jewel Blalock, and beloved dog, Roxie.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel. The family will have a reception immediately following the service at the Golden Corral, 40 Weeks Drive, Roxboro, NC.
