Ray Early Winfred Pergerson

RAY EARLY WINFRED PERGERSON, age 71, of 900 Frank Street, Roxboro, NC died Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Pergerson was born April 16, 1948 in Person County, NC, son of the late Bennie Winfred & Cynthia Adams Davis Pergerson.  Prior to becoming disabled, he worked as an automobile mechanic and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Nascar.

Surviving are a son, Patrick Blackwell of Oxford, NC, three brothers, Michael Pergerson & wife, Rebecca of Roxboro, NC, Ricky Pergerson of Mebane, NC, Terry Pergerson & wife, Karen of Dade City, FL, sister, Mary Long of Leasburg, NC, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pergerson is preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Pergerson and Kevin Pergerson.

The family will receive friends and guests Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Hyco Community House, 205 Kelly Brewer Road, Semora, NC 27291.  Inurnment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Person Memorial Cemetery.
