Timmy Arthur Mathews, Jr.

TIMMY ARTHUR MATHEWS, JR., age 44, of 377 Mellie Clayton Road, Roxboro, NC died Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Mathews was born September 1, 1975 in Durham County, NC, son of Timmy Arthur Mathews, Sr. and the late Ellen Elaine High Sunkel and husband of Dawn Elaine Hallman.  He was a convenience store clerk and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his father are five children, Tiffany Breedlove, Timmy A. Mathews, III, Trent Mitchell, Austin Mathews, Ashley McCoy, four sisters, Ginger Hester, Tammy Maness, Paula Mathews, Jennifer Hughes, brother, Nicholas McCann, and aunt, Phyllis Freeman. 

In addition to his mother, Mr. Mathews is preceded in death by a son, Cody Mathews, and uncle, Gene High.

Memorial services will be planned at a later date.
