BRENDA KAY PARRISH BOTTOMS, age 54, of 921 Streets Store Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday afternoon, September 23, 2016 at Duke University Hospital.

Mrs. Bottoms was born on January 28, 1962 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late David Lee Parrish & Vivian Louise Dye Parrish who survives and was wife of William D. Bottoms, Sr. who also survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are a son, William D. Bottoms, Jr. & wife, Megan of Reidsville, NC, two step-daughters, Heather Warring of Roxboro, NC, Shannon Bottoms of South Boston, VA, sister, Faye Castaneda & husband, Domingo of Roxboro, NC, brother, Ronald Lee Parrish of Macon, NC, three grandchildren, Roy Bottoms, A.J. Clark, Ryan Clark, niece, Sarah Kerns, two nephews, Victor Lee Castaneda, Christopher Harris and great niece, McKenzie Kerns.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Bottoms is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Virginia Suggs.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Mill Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Dion Loving.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.      

Pallbearers will be Victor Castaneda, Frankie Gentry, Christopher Harris, Brian Mincey, Lenny Whitcomb and Bob Wilborn.
