CHARLES DWAYNE HAYES age 41, of 86 Woodsdale Road, Roxboro, NC died Sunday morning, November 27, 2016.

Mr. Hayes was born August 22, 1975 in Person County, NC, son of James Douglas & Catherine Ann Roach Long. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Kaye Michelle Daye of Roxboro, paternal grandparents, Billy S. & Linda Neathery Long, aunt, Melinda Gail Long, cousin, Jeremy Blake Long, three nephews, DeMari L. Daye, Kevin Leon Covington, Jr. and Deven Douglas Covington. 

Mr. Hayes is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ira Edward Roach, Connie Alice Reaves and aunt, Kaylen Clayton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services Chapel by the Pastor Frankie Reaves.  Interment will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.    

Pallbearers will be Bobby Dunkley, William Hall, Stacey Kendrick, Adam Martin, Nathan Morris and Jeremy Paylor.
